  1. For my subvertisement, I've chosen to use Zach Galifinakis as the Victoria's Secret "spokes person." Most women in the original magazine of VS appear to be well fit or at times may seem to look too skinny, by choosing Zach it goes against the grain of Vicoria's Secret "Sex" appeal. Relating back to my Advertisement with Marylin Monroe my slogan was, "The body is ment to be seen, not all covered up," it creates a strong contrast between the two. By saying that, it relates back to how everyone doesn't have to be "perfect" in order to be on the cover of a magazine, or be in the modeling industry, you are who you are, your body is your temple, your serenity. I've tried to create these two ads for the audience of the younger generation. Even though Victoria's Secret is mainly ment for older women, it's also very important to keep in mind that there are younger girls looking at the magazine, or site. By using two "plus sized" people in my ad, it keeps re-stating that you don't need to be like all the other models and sacrifice your own body. It also goes for the basic appeals in my ads. The picture of Zach may be somewhat gross, but it's a reality picture to those who are brainwashed by the media, and how good it is to look thin, like all models, or actors.
